The following is an excerpt taken from the old forums, last revised Oct 29, 20

As anyone who plays regularly should know, we have an hourly broadcast telling you that you should keep screenshots of Pokemon you care about or that have a high value. The easiest way is the way mentioned in the broadcast - stick it in /ah for a super high price like 49 million, screenshot its listing, then take it out again. This puts all of the stats in one convenient screenshot and is also something we can verify in our logs even if you lose the screenshot. If you are unsure of how to take a screenshot, then /info screenshots in game should give you all the instruction you need.

Why do we need you to do this?

Well, as any long time player knows, Minecraft is buggy. Pixelmon is buggy. Servers crash. People disconnect or lag and Pokemon get lost. This is a sucky situation and nobody likes it - and we're absolutely on your side when this happens. Odds are it's happened to almost every staff member at some point, so we know the pain.

But you've got to work with us; we can't just reimburse you because you claim you lost your full team of legends, because then anybody could claim that. We need you to provide that proof not only to prove that you had the Pokemon, but so we can recreate it as accurately as possible - because nobody wants to spend another hour training a Pokemon up or have to spend more money on it because of a bug.

Here are the following clarifications, just so everyone is on the same page and knows where we stand:

Valid forms of proof that will get your Pokemon reimbursed exactly as they were

  • Screenshot of a full listing in /ah - this is the best one as it has all the data in one place and can be easily verified
  • Full screenshot, clearly showing that you are on our server by a recognizable structure or chat messages, of the Pokemon in your party, and its stats in the stats screen - combined with an /ivs or /evs that is either logged or screenshotted in the same way
  • Pokemon was a Pokemaster Challenge reward and you submitted your reward request in the format that was listed in the thread

Valid forms of proof that will get your Pokemon reimbursed with most of the important stats, but may be missing some of the more other ones:

  • Mentioning you bought it in /ah with no screenshots, which we verify in our own logs - this will be missing size, move sets and any special skins, and it will have exactly the same stats as in the logs regardless of what you report
  • Doing /ivs slot and /evs slot either in a full unedited chat log or with screenshots that clearly show you are on our server - this will get you a Pokemon matching those stats and everything else will be random, unless proof of that is shown.
  • Custom Pokemon bought directly from our web store from "Choose a Legend" or "Choose a Pokemon" - this will get you a Pokemon issued using the exact same command that was originally run.
  • Mentioning you got it from /wt with no screenshots, which we verify in our own logs - this will be missing any special skins, and it will have exactly the same stats as in the logs regardless of what you report
  • Generic screenshot of your PC or party that doesn't contain any stats but is still verifiably our server - this will get you a random Pokemon that matches the shininess/special skin status, and if it's in your party the level and gender as well.

Valid forms of proof that will get you a random Pokemon maybe matching one or two stats:

  • Shop bought Pokemon from any of the Random Pokemon options, with no further proof of stats - this will be totally random bar the species of Pokemon, although any shininess or special skins will be retained as per the proof
  • Screenshot or chat log of you obtaining a random Pokemon from a crate key, that is clearly and verifiably from our server, with no further proof of stats - this will be totally random bar the species of Pokemon, although any shininess or special skins will be retained as per the proof
  • "Staff member X saw the Pokemon" - this will literally just get you a random one and nothing else if they do back up your story (it will be special or shiny if they vouch for that, if they don't it won't be). People who constantly rely on this one without bothering to retain any proof will start getting their tickets rejected, so it's only a one-off.

Invalid forms of proof, that will see your ticket be rejected if valid proof is not attached within a week of a staff member replying to the ticket:

  • "My mate saw the Pokemon so it's definitely legitimate" from a non staff member
  • "I don't have proof please believe me"
  • "I lost the screenshot/logs somehow"
  • Any screenshot that is not verifiable as being on our server - so it's just cropped to the IVs/EVs or just shows the stats screen, but nothing else; for all we know that could be single player or another server entirely, and yes, that's happened before
  • Any screenshot taken whilst in a F1 view mode, as this will remove any level information from being visible and can be used by people who have tried to use statues as their proof (yes that's happened before as well)
  • Any photograph of a screen taken at an angle that requires us to either tilt our heads or rotate the image - if you must photograph a screen then at least bother to do it straight on.
  • Any photograph of a screen that is so blurry, has such a strong noise pattern etc that it simply isn't legible - use the screenshot buttons on your computers instead.
  • Any doctored screenshots attempting to stitch things together - just don't go there.
  • Any trade request for a Pokemon, or breed request - this is not evidence that the Pokemon existed, nor that even if it did exist, that it actually met the request's entries. (These are only valid evidence in a scam report)

Any refusal to even attempt to provide evidence will result in a ticket being rejected straight away - and saying you have no evidence in the ticket will be counted as refusing to even attempt to provide it. Any ticket that attacks staff for requesting evidence will also result in an instant rejection - we are not playing that game.

Yes, that above one is one someone genuinely tried to use years ago.

What if my Pokemon dupes but I don't know what got replaced, nothing got replaced, or I don't care?
Step 1: screenshot and relog. That might just fix it. If no admin is around to take care of it - raise a ticket. Don't just delete one of the dupes - you may lose it altogether, and of course if you have no proof then there's nothing we can do!

What if the Pokemon I'm facing gets stuck in battle?
We would need a screenshot of you stuck on the waiting screen with the Pokemon in question.

What if I'm in a legendary raid where someone is AFK or I am otherwise stuck in battle?
We would need a screenshot of you stuck on the waiting screen in the Raid in question.

What if I beat a boss and it gives me no rewards?
We need a screenshot of the rewards screen or we can't do anything.

What if an item despawns/disappears?
This is something we're willing to be a bit more tolerant of - up to a point. Anything that would be considered of high value needs proof; these include, but are not necessarily restricted to:

  • Any item used to spawn a legendary
  • Any item of special server armor or tools (so Harmony, Kyogre, Groudon)
  • Any enchanted item will require proof of the enchantments used, or will be given back plain
  • Any form of orb or incense
  • Any expensive block type such as diamond or emerald
  • Any other item regarded as generally being of high value, such as a mega stone, a z crystal, an Arceus plate or Silvally disc, a memory drive, ranch upgrade etc.

Excluding enchantments on things that are not special server armor, log proof of how you obtained these will be fine, as of course will any screenshots that clearly depict the items.

Generally speaking though, the only time you're ever going to lose items without it being your own fault is with a server crash or if they're on a Pokemon that disappears, especially since the old held item glitch appears to be a thing of the past. Remember that some items have a limited lifespan, such as Ultra armor in ultra space - we will not replace items that were broken due to ultra space exposure or because their durability ran out.

What if my Pokehunt doesn't complete?
In 99% of cases: you did it wrong. Make sure you're familiar with /info pokehunts in game, but the fundamental thing here is that it must match all of the stats listed in /phunts, and that you must either catch it yourself with those stats, evolve it into something that matches those stats, or obtain it as an egg from a ranch with those stats. You cannot just buy and hatch an egg; and you cannot just HA scroll a Pokemon unless you then evolve it to complete the Pokehunt. As such we don't generally consider Pokehunt tickets unless you can prove clearly that you did all this, and it still didn't work (and generally the only time that can happen is on the VERY rare occasion a Pokemon has its HA but the HA flag hasn't been triggered)

What if I pay the wrong player or another player pays someone else instead of me?
We need a chat log of you paying the wrong player/of the other player paying the wrong person, one that clearly shows that the incorrect person got paid.
