We hope to see you online soon!
The following is an excerpt taken from the old forums, last revised Oct 29, 20
As anyone who plays regularly should know, we have an hourly broadcast telling you that you should keep screenshots of Pokemon you care about or that have a high value. The easiest way is the way mentioned in the broadcast - stick it in /ah for a super high price like 49 million, screenshot its listing, then take it out again. This puts all of the stats in one convenient screenshot and is also something we can verify in our logs even if you lose the screenshot. If you are unsure of how to take a screenshot, then /info screenshots in game should give you all the instruction you need.
Why do we need you to do this?
Well, as any long time player knows, Minecraft is buggy. Pixelmon is buggy. Servers crash. People disconnect or lag and Pokemon get lost. This is a sucky situation and nobody likes it - and we're absolutely on your side when this happens. Odds are it's happened to almost every staff member at some point, so we know the pain.
But you've got to work with us; we can't just reimburse you because you claim you lost your full team of legends, because then anybody could claim that. We need you to provide that proof not only to prove that you had the Pokemon, but so we can recreate it as accurately as possible - because nobody wants to spend another hour training a Pokemon up or have to spend more money on it because of a bug.
Here are the following clarifications, just so everyone is on the same page and knows where we stand:
Valid forms of proof that will get your Pokemon reimbursed exactly as they were
Valid forms of proof that will get your Pokemon reimbursed with most of the important stats, but may be missing some of the more other ones:
Valid forms of proof that will get you a random Pokemon maybe matching one or two stats:
Invalid forms of proof, that will see your ticket be rejected if valid proof is not attached within a week of a staff member replying to the ticket:
Any refusal to even attempt to provide evidence will result in a ticket being rejected straight away - and saying you have no evidence in the ticket will be counted as refusing to even attempt to provide it. Any ticket that attacks staff for requesting evidence will also result in an instant rejection - we are not playing that game.
Examples of good screenshot evidence
Examples of invalid screenshot evidence
Yes, that above one is one someone genuinely tried to use years ago.
What if my Pokemon dupes but I don't know what got replaced, nothing got replaced, or I don't care?
Step 1: screenshot and relog. That might just fix it. If no admin is around to take care of it - raise a ticket. Don't just delete one of the dupes - you may lose it altogether, and of course if you have no proof then there's nothing we can do!
What if the Pokemon I'm facing gets stuck in battle?
We would need a screenshot of you stuck on the waiting screen with the Pokemon in question.
What if I'm in a legendary raid where someone is AFK or I am otherwise stuck in battle?
We would need a screenshot of you stuck on the waiting screen in the Raid in question.
What if I beat a boss and it gives me no rewards?
We need a screenshot of the rewards screen or we can't do anything.
What if an item despawns/disappears?
This is something we're willing to be a bit more tolerant of - up to a point. Anything that would be considered of high value needs proof; these include, but are not necessarily restricted to:
Excluding enchantments on things that are not special server armor, log proof of how you obtained these will be fine, as of course will any screenshots that clearly depict the items.
Generally speaking though, the only time you're ever going to lose items without it being your own fault is with a server crash or if they're on a Pokemon that disappears, especially since the old held item glitch appears to be a thing of the past. Remember that some items have a limited lifespan, such as Ultra armor in ultra space - we will not replace items that were broken due to ultra space exposure or because their durability ran out.
What if my Pokehunt doesn't complete?
In 99% of cases: you did it wrong. Make sure you're familiar with /info pokehunts in game, but the fundamental thing here is that it must match all of the stats listed in /phunts, and that you must either catch it yourself with those stats, evolve it into something that matches those stats, or obtain it as an egg from a ranch with those stats. You cannot just buy and hatch an egg; and you cannot just HA scroll a Pokemon unless you then evolve it to complete the Pokehunt. As such we don't generally consider Pokehunt tickets unless you can prove clearly that you did all this, and it still didn't work (and generally the only time that can happen is on the VERY rare occasion a Pokemon has its HA but the HA flag hasn't been triggered)
What if I pay the wrong player or another player pays someone else instead of me?
We need a chat log of you paying the wrong player/of the other player paying the wrong person, one that clearly shows that the incorrect person got paid.
